My life be like *ohh ahh...

I just saw GRITS at Vanderbilt University with my sweet friend Grace. I think it will prove to be one of the most unique experiences of my time at the Stepchild of the SEC university. I LOVED IT. They played at a Hip Hop Colloquium put on by Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music. The colloquium was called "Hip Hop is My Psychologist," and it was so cool.

Granted, there was some questionable content throughout the night, but Christian hip hop artists, GRITS, rounded out the night with a great message. For a university that doesn't allow proselytizing it was kind of a big deal.

For more information, check out the Hip Hop Psychology website HERE. They have some interesting ideas.
