Sometimes as missionaries we get caught up in the business of seeing our work as getting numbers not reaching souls. I have heard a lot of people criticize these practices, and while I think it's inappropriate to
focus (hehe)
on numbers without recognizing the souls those numbers represent, I did read this interesting thing in the Book of Proverbs:
"In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined" (14:28).
Why don't we approach our outreach this way? By getting more "numbers" aren't we bringing more glory to Our King?

Yes! God wants as many souls as possible, but the thing I would be concerned with is that each person in the multitude is really being reached and growing in holiness (and not just simply showing up to activities).
