It's over (July-December)

2009 continued...

JULY
--My dear, sweet friend Natasha Rosko became Natasha Rhodes:
--I struggled through OB and Psych Nursing classes.
--The summer was beautiful. I lazied around a lot.
--HP6 came out. I went to the midnight showing, drove to Montgomery for clinicals at 7am, and had no regrets.

AUGUST
--I moved in to the Magnolia East Townhomes with my beautiful roommates. They are some of the biggest blessings in my life:
--I started my first semester of my Senior year.
--I had a great time on the Pan y Vino team retreat in beautiful Fairhope:

SEPTEMBER
--My roommates and I had the first ever weekly 'Roommate Dinner'. It was always one of my favorite parts of the week:
--It was September and my article was published in the Auburn Villager. It was a long-anticipated event.
--Drew killed his first triathlon. Rachel and I cheered him on in the early morning hours. Ladies, try not to drool too much:
--I had some really intense nursing encounters, including a few catheter disasters.
--I loved getting to know my sister Allison better by eating many, many meals together.

OCTOBER
--FOCUS Ladies' Night was AWESOME:
--I played wheelchair basketball for the first time with my friend Jared. I loved it, and played almost every week in the Fall.
--We had the first Fall Pan y Vino Retreat in many years. It was a huge success.
--When my clinical group finished my critical care clinicals in the ICU we decided to celebrate on our last day by getting dinner together. Note, these nursing students are heartbreakers, clearly:
--Prudence and I saw Chris Thile again, this time with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. It was incredible!
--The annual CSO Halloween Hop was a huge hit. I think HH and I had the best costumes ever:

NOVEMBER
--I was quite prolific in my blog-posting.
--I celebrated the "birthday" of my blog.
--I did some interesting things in my perioperative nursing elective.
--Thanksgiving was delicious and filled with a lot of picture-taking. Here we are with my cousin, Denise:
--I attended my last Auburn University football game as a student.

DECEMBER
--I finished my last semester of real lecture classes.
--St. Michael's officially moved from Magnolia Avenue to College Street. The Dedication Mass was beautiful:
--I attended all four performances of the AU Singer's Fall Show with my awesome bathroommate.
--I took a trip to Huntsville and Nashville with, and to see, some of my best friends:
--I reunited with HA CHA to make some predictions for next year.
--I celebrated Christmas with my beautiful family:

It was a very good year. I loved every minute, but now it's time to say, "GOODBYE 2009!! Hello 2010."
